Our Sub-Teams

 The Mechanical Team designs, builds, and tests all the physical systems of the car. This includes developing the carbon-fiber frame and body, designing steering and braking systems, creating seat mounts, and ensuring every structural component is race-ready. They turn engineering concepts into real, functioning parts through fabrication, modeling, and hands-on problem-solving. 

 The Electrical Team handles everything that brings the car to life electronically. They design wiring diagrams, test and assemble battery systems, integrate the solar array, configure the motor controller, and ensure that all electronics communicate safely and efficiently. Their work makes sure energy flows smoothly from the sun to the wheels. 

 The Financial and Operations Team manages the organizational side of the program. They handle budgets, track expenses, work with sponsors, manage outreach and communication, coordinate events, and support the team’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit operations. Their efforts keep the team running smoothly and ensure we have the resources and connections to keep building and improving our solar car.
